About Me
- I'm Austin Swanson, aka "Swany407". I invest in public companies. I have a passion for understanding what makes certain companies succeed and fail, past and present, and look to use that knowledge to make investment decisions.
- I also owned residential real estate properties, both single family and multi-family, and then focused on NNN and absolute net commercial properties (I recently sold all properties to buy some public company stocks)
- I have degrees in mathematics and actuarial science, and have obtained actuarial credentials of FSA, CERA, and MAAA.

My Experience and Investing Style
- I have been reading, watching, listening to everything investment related for years
- I have been investing my own money, as well for others, for years
- I invest in concentrated positions in public companies (therefore when I invest, and a stock increases, it has a significant positive impact on my overall gains)
- I owned and invested in residential real estate (I sold these properties to reinvest into public companies / stocks)
- I also work as an investment consultant, to help others (such as investment funds) analyze investments.
